Training Days

Training Days are a great way to put a focus on some of the key elements of triathlon without spending too much money or time away. At Absolute Tri we focus our training days at key points in the season to allow athletes to learn new skills or brush up on some skills ready next phase of the season. They also allow athletes, both new and more experienced to train in a relaxed environment, enjoy the company of like minded triathletes and most importantly structure your training by working with some of the UK’s leading Triathlon Coaches.

Whatever distance you are training for and whatever standard you are, you can be assured that our experienced coaches can easily cater for you.

Future Training days

Our next training day will be on Saturday 24thMarch at Harvey Hadden Sports Village. The focus of the day will be on transitions and Duathlon / Triathlon Brick sessions as well as Westsuit and Openwater swimming but in the safety of the pool for those new to this element.

During the day we also plan to introduce athletes to some S & C skills as well as post-training fueling. Both of these are vital to support the swim, bike and run training that athletes do as it aids injury presentation as well as enhances recovery from sessions.

Plan for the day as follows

08:45 – Arrive

09:00 to 11:00 – Transitions, brick sessions and bike skills

11:30 to 12:30 – S & c and Post training Fueling

13:00 to 14:00 – Wetsuit and open water swim skills

14:30 – Depart

Cost of the day will be £60 per athlete (£50 for those athletes individually coached by Absolute Tri Coaching)
