Future Training Camps

Morzine Family Camp

We are delighted to advise you that we are running another family training camp / holiday in Morzine which is located in the stunning French Alps in August 2017. The details of this camp is as follows:

Dates: August 2018

Venue: Morzine, France

Hosts: 44South

Cost per adult: £595 with 3 lunches provided 6 evening meals with wine and all coaching;
Cost per juniors aged 12 and above £545 for 3 lunches, 6 evening meals and all coaching;
Cost per junior aged under 12 years of age accompanied with an adult: £495 to include the 3 lunches, 6 evening meals and all coaching.
The prices do not include bike transfers, flights or airport transfers. Although these will be discussed and organised with those coming nearer the time.

All juniors must be accompanied by an adult, however, that does not necessarily mean their direct parent. Two athletes from separate families may train with us so long as they have one responsible adult with them.

If you are interested, please feel free to chat to Steve and he will advise you on how to secure your place. Places are limited to enable us to deliver quality coaching as well as ensure you have a first class holiday with your family.

This camp is not exclusive for families alone, we are also able to cater for all age-group athletes who may wish to train with us. We had such a wonderful time last year in the French Alps with our superb hosts; 44South. The location is stunning, the food is quite simply amazing and the training is adapted for every athlete and every need. It’s not just about training and you don’t have to train everyday, it’s entirely unto each person / family. With the camp taking place in such a beautiful place and with so much to do outside of training such as ice-skating, tobogganing, mountain biking, shopping, sunbathing, lake swimming walking and much more. Basically you can have a wonderful holiday and ride you bike in the process!

We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested.

Spain Training Camp – February 2019 – full details to follow

Absolute Tri Coaching are delighted to offer another training camp in Spain, Aquillas in February 2019. The final dates are to be confirmed nearer the time.

Accommodation for this spring camp is half board, and on two people sharing although single occupancy is available at an additional cost. The hotel is close to all main routes for cycling and also very close to the beach for some excellent early season open water sea swimming. Transfers to and from the hotel are included in the price.

A full itinerary for the week will be sent our nearer the camp but it will follow a similar theme to what we have found popular in the past:

· 2 – 4 open water swims in the sea (wetsuit ideal)
· Bike ride most days between 2 and 6 hours, although do not worry you will not be expected to ride for 6 hours if you are not at that level or only racing sprint distance. The longer rides are for athletes focusing on long distance racing and the good weather will make it perfect to get some long miles in.
· 2 to 4 runs – encompassing a mixture of technique, interval and long steady runs. These will be tailored specific to the needs of the athlete.

· Daily Strength and conditioning, core work and stretching to compliment the training you have done.

The weather is normally good at this time of year therefore this is an ideal camp to get some sunshine on your back as well as training in some idyllic areas with some beautiful scenery.

Flights are not included in the price. However if you would like to contact us we will let you know which flights we recommend.

Please email either Steve or Julie for more information and how to pay your deposit and arrange a monthly payment plan.
